At SVMH, our Department of Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care offers comprehensive care for individuals with lung-related health concerns. We deliver integrated and round-the-clock services, addressing a wide spectrum of respiratory diseases and emergencies. Our dedicated team comprises seasoned Pulmonologists with extensive experience garnered from India’s most prestigious academic institutions. They are supported by respiratory therapists, technicians, and highly trained professional nurses.

Our department is equipped to provide top-notch outpatient and inpatient care, including critical care, for patients dealing with common conditions like bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, pneumonias, sleep apnea, interstitial lung diseases, sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension, as well as rarer and less common respiratory ailments. We also offer management solutions for pulmonary issues frequently associated with systemic conditions, including those of the cardiovascular and neurological systems.

Our state-of-the-art infrastructure features cutting-edge tools such as Bronchoscopy (fibreoptic and EBUS), Thoracoscopy, Respiratory Intensive Care, Pulmonary Function Laboratories, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit, Allergy Testing facilities, including smoking cessation programs.
